About us

Built from the Field

Since 1990, Rhino Products has worked with professionals in the field to design and manufacture practical bags and carrying solutions built around the way they're actually used.

Many Rhino products began with a simple conversation: What do you need your bag to do better? Those ideas were turned into patterns, prototypes and finished products through hands-on design and American manufacturing.

That approach still guides Rhino today. We listen to the people using the equipment, build around real-world needs, and manufacture professional sewn products here in Michigan.

Built to Carry. Since 1990.

Family-Owned. America-Made

Rhino Products was founded in 1990 by Jim and Susie McGowan in Lawrence, Michigan. In 2012, Dawn and Steve Brady took ownership and continued building Rhino's reputation for American-made sewn products.

In 2026, Rhino entered its next chapter under new ownership, with manufacturing continuing in Michigan. Today, we remain a small American manufacturer focused on professional bags, custom sewn products and OEM manufacturing—while preserving the products, craftsmanship and customer relationships that have defined Rhino since 1990.

Who We Build For

Rhino Products builds professional bags and carrying solutions for EMS, medical, fire and rescue, law enforcement, hunting and other specialized applications.

From trauma and medical bags to oxygen bags, equipment cases, straps and custom sewn products, our designs have been shaped by decades of experience and feedback from the people who use them.

And when an existing product doesn't fit the job, we can build something that does. Rhino works directly with customers to develop custom and OEM sewn solutions around real-world needs.

Built for Your Application

When an off-the-shelf solution isn't enough, Rhino can adapt proven designs or develop something around your needs.

Choose from custom colors, sizing, pocket configurations, embroidery and other modifications.

Tell us what you need to carry. We'll help build the solution.
